Sunday
Benvenuti to the Langhe region! We've organized your private transfer from Milan, bringing you to the picturesque hilltop town of Monforte d'Alba, where you'll check in for a three night stay at La Ribezza Boutique Hotel. Family owned and operated for multiple generations, this panoramic hotel is situated in the heart of Piedmont's most famous region, making it the perfect location for our winery day trips. Depending on your arrival time, join us for a welcome lunch (or dinner) at the timeless Ristorante Felicin. Enjoy tastes of the region with local dishes such as Agnolotti del Plin and Brasato al Barolo.
Monday
Our first day together is all about immersion in wine, food, and the heart of Piedmontese hospitality. We’ll begin with a morning tasting at Giuseppe Cortese, exploring their acclaimed Barbaresco wines from the Rabajà hillside. From there, we’ll enjoy a curated experience that brings together the worlds of Contratto and La Spinetta. Around the family table, Eleonora and Manuela Rivetti will prepare a traditional Langhe lunch, thoughtfully paired with some of their favorite bottles. It’s an intimate introduction to the people, places, and flavors that define this region.
Tuesday
Today is devoted to discovering the rich culinary traditions of Piedmont, with a special emphasis on local, family-owned producers. After breakfast, we’ll take a short 10-minute walk to Conterno Fantino, where you’ll experience exceptional wines while learning of the family’s history in the region. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Giolito for a guided tour of their renowned “cheese cellar,” followed by an in-depth cheese tasting with one of the owners. The day will conclude with a sunset wine tasting at Bovio, culminating with dinner at Belsit in Langa, where the breathtaking view is rivaled only by the cuisine.
Wednesday
We invite you to slow down—piano, piano, as the Italians say—and fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the moment with a visit to Ceretto, one of Italy’s most iconic wineries. We’ve curated a truly unforgettable experience, though we won’t give too much away just yet. Here's a hint: a private home nestled among the vines, a personal chef, and rare, terroir-driven Barolo pairings. Afterward, you’ll check in to Tenuta Bussia, your home for the next three nights. To ease into the afternoon, we’ve arranged a simple picnic dinner, perfect for enjoying at one of the many panoramic viewpoints across the estate.
Thursday
Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether that means exploring the rolling hills of the Langhe or indulging in some relaxing spa time at the hotel. For those seeking a bit more adventure, we’re happy to arrange optional, tailor-made excursions. Possibilities include a self-guided e-bike tour through the countryside, a day trip to Alba, or a private vineyard walk with the owners of Silvano Bolmida. In the evening, we’ll come back together for a private cooking class at Tenuta Bussia, an interactive, hands-on experience paired with wines crafted from the very vines that surround you.
Friday
On our final day together, we’ll start with a short walk from your hotel to Prunotto, where a special experience awaits. Enjoy a personalized tasting of their esteemed single-vineyard wines, followed by a beautifully curated lunch paired with additional selections from their cellar. Later, take some time to relax before we gather for a memorable farewell dinner at Gennaro di Pace in the charming town of Perno. The dinner will highlight the perfectly aged cru wines from our friends at Michele Chiarlo. A fitting finale to an extraordinary week!
